Description
This Monty Bank was built in 1991 at Willemse's yard in Emmeloord and then finished by Nijenhuis (Lelystad). As a result, she did not enter service until 1993. The ship belongs to the second owner, who took it over from the first owner only after a few years of sailing. Much additional work done on the ship has remained well documented.
In 2017, the DAF engine was replaced with an all-new John Deere 6068 DF-150 with a 6 cylinder and 125 hp engine with only 500 engine hours. The ship has a joggled hull and is seaworthy. This gives you a wide choice of sailing routes.
The vessel is controllable both inside and outside and the many Raymarine equipment help the skipper maneuver safely. The mast can be lowered, limiting the headroom.
In the salon, under the aft cabin is a nice round seat with kitchen where it is pleasant to stay. In the front are four spacious berths and the Webasto heating with double glazing ensures comfort.
